Statement on the Shooting of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico

We are shocked and appalled by the shooting of Prime Minister Robert Fico in Handlová.

Action for Democracy, alongside our Slovakian partner organizations Srdcom doma o.z., Mladí proti fašizmu and Zmudri.sk unequivocally and strongly condemn all forms of violence. We hope for Prime Minister Fico's swift and full recovery and urge that this terrible act be thoroughly investigated and clarified as soon as possible. Our thoughts are with him during this distressing time.
